AN inquest has been opened into the death of a 14-year-old boy who died in a crash in the Bradford district.
Ellis Lockley was involved in a collision on Tarn Lane, a rural road near Braithwaite known as the 'Yorkshire Bumps', on April 28.
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 2.20pm.
Ellis, who was a passenger in a silver Vauxhall Corsa that was travelling in the direction of Black Hill Lane, died at the scene of the crash.
Two other passengers in the car suffered minor injuries.
West Yorkshire Police said a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and subsequently bailed pending further enquiries.

Ellis’s inquest was opened at Bradford Coroner’s Court this morning.
The court was told Ellis was born on July 22, 2009.
He was a school student and lived in Keighley.
Assistant coroner Angela Brocklehurst described the teenager’s death as “tragic”.
She said “many enquiries” needed to take place into the tragedy and added that she was awaiting further reports on the case.
The inquest was adjourned and it will be reviewed on August 30, with an expected completion date on November 11.
Paying tribute to Ellis after his death, his family said in a statement: “We as a family are totally devastated at the loss of our beautiful boy Ellis.
“He has left such a massive hole in our hearts.
“We have received so much love and support from the community.
“He is so loved by everyone who knew him.
“While we appreciate people will want to pay tribute to our little joy Ellis, we hope that they do this with respect.”
After Ellis died, a JustGiving page was set up to help support his family.
The page said the "whole of Keighley are absolutely heartbroken" for Ellis's loved ones.
It added: "Ellis was a character, a funny, caring, charismatic kid who brightened up any room that he walked into.
"Taken far too soon and dearly missed, anyone who knew him was better for it."
After the incident, Detective Inspector Paul Conroy, of West Yorkshire Police’s major collision enquiry team, said: “Specially trained officers are continuing to support Ellis’s family at this tragic time.
“In particular we are keen to trace the drivers of an Audi and a Yaris who were in the area between 1.30pm and 2.20pm.”
