A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in the Bradford district.
Police said they were called to a "report of damage to a van" on Thackley Old Road, Shipley, shortly before 4pm on Friday.
The Telegraph & Argus has been told the van driver was subsequently injured.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 47 assault.
"He has since been bailed pending further enquiries which remain ongoing with Bradford district police."
The driver's father contacted the T&A about the incident and sent images of damage caused to the van in the incident
He also raised general concerns about crime in the Bradford area and added: "I have become more and more disillusioned with what Bradford has become.
"This has brought forward my desire to leave Bradford sooner rather than later and I know I am not the only one who feels this way."
