A TIK TOK star from Bradford, with more than 600,000 followers, has been released from prison after a month away.

Gavinio, whose catchphrases include “get back shadrack” and “it’s all inside your mind” – which matches his handle on the social media platform – returned to Tik Tok last Friday after a month-long absence.

The Tik Tok star, whose real name is Gavin Proctor, was linking up with another big name on the scene before his enforced time away.

He collaborated with other Tik Tok creators to release song Lose My Mind in March and spent time in Dubai during that time.

Proctor, 39, of Poplar Road, in Shipley, was sent to prison for 10 weeks on April 4 at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court after breaching a suspended sentence he received last year.

He pleaded guilty to the offence on the same day.

The 39-year-old failed to turn up for an unpaid work appointment on November 26, 2023 and a planned office RAR (Rehabilitation Activity Requirement) appointment on December 12, 2023, according to court records.

This formed part of his punishment for being convicted of driving while disqualified, failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis, and use of a motor vehicle without insurance on May 11 last year at Leeds Magistrates’ Court.

All three offences relate to September 3, 2022 when Proctor was driving a black Ford Focus Hatchback on Manningham Lane.

He received a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.

Proctor was also disqualified from driving for a further three years, ordered to participate in an accredited programme for 33 days, complete up to 25 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR) days, and 100 hours unpaid work.

Court records show this sentence was given because Proctor has a “previous record for driving whilst disqualified and drink drive offences.”

Gavinio posted a Tik Tok video on April 3, seemingly promoting a new song while in a car with white leather interior.

A number of viewers questioned his disappearance on the platform, with several people saying he was in HMP Armley.

The Telegraph & Argus spoke to one individual who said their ex-partner confirmed Gavinio was in prison, with another claiming their friend had seen the Tik Tok star in court on April 4.

Gavinio next posted a Tik Tok video on May 10, alluding to the fact he had been behind bars.

He is wearing an orange jumpsuit with one part of a pair of handcuffs closed around one of his wrists.

Gavinio shouts: “Yo, you know how we do, Gavinio’s back, fresh out of HMP.”

The Tik Tok celebrity, who has 10.9 million likes across all his videos, also posted a video yesterday (May 13) with the caption "droping soon".

It features a slideshow of three pictures of Gavinio, including him stood alongside luxury supercars, while part of a new track plays in the background.

The T&A has contacted Gavinio’s management for comment.
