POLICE investigating an affray have arrested three men in connection with the incident.
Cavendish Road in Idle was blocked off from early on Sunday morning into the afternoon.
Tape blocked off both ends of the road, at the junctions with Thorp Garth and Back Cavendish Street.
West Yorkshire Police was called at around 7.30pm on Saturday by the hospital to reports of a 23-year-old man with injuries.
The spokesperson added: "We are investigating an affray. Three men have been arrested.
"A 22-year-old remains in custody and two other males have been bailed pending further enquiries."
One resident told the T&A yesterday: "I got up at 7am and saw a police van.
"All the tape was already up."
Julie Humphreys, a resident who is also a councillor for the Bolton and Undercliffe ward on Bradford Council, said: "I hope the person who's been injured is okay."
Cllr Humphreys said "everybody is concerned" and she urged anyone with information to contact West Yorkshire Police.
Cllr Jeanette Sunderland (Lib Dem, Idle & Thackley) said: "Clearly it's worrying, I would urge anyone that knows anything to get in touch with the police."
