The final season of Happy Valley scooped two awards at the Baftas on Sunday night.
The gritty crime series filmed across Bradford and Calderdale was nominated for five awards at the prestigious ceremony.
The exhilarating series saw Sarah Lancashire’s character Sergeant Catherine Cawood hunt down murderer and sex offender Tommy Lee Royce.
Some of the scenes for the third and final series of Happy Valley were filmed in Bradford.
It was competing against the likes of The Gold, Slow Horses and Top Boy at the Baftas.
Star Sarah Lancashire was nominated for the leading actress Bafta for her portrayal of the no-nonsense police Sergeant.
She was called to the stage to collect her award, where she thanked the show’s “formidable cast and crew”.
She described the award as an honour and paid tribute to Happy Valley writer Sally Wainwright.
With the golden award in her hands, she told the audience: “I shall forever be grateful to you for this opportunity.”
Happy Valley was also awarded the Memorable Moment Award, sponsored by P&O Cruises, at the Baftas.
The final tense kitchen showdown between Sgt Catherine Cawood and Tommy Lee Royce won over judges.
The crime series already has a string of awards under its belt.
