- Piran Ditta Khan, 75, of no fixed abode due to be sentenced for the murder of Sharon Beshenivsky at Leeds Crown Court today.
- She was shot at point-blank range outside Universal Express Travel, in Morley Street, Bradford on November 18, 2005.
- The injury was almost immediately fatal.
- Khan was the mastermind behind a bungled armed robbery at the travel agents.
- He was in a car nearby at the time PC Beshenivsky was shot by one of three henchmen fleeing the travel agents but the court heard his role was "pivotal" in planning and directing the act.
