KEIGHLEY and Worth Valley Railway has launched new on-train dining experiences for the spring and summer months.

The top tourist attraction is offering a mixture of three new menus and two firm visitor favourites on its dining trains.

On offer will be Yorkshire Antipasti, the Stoker's Lunch and the Modern Afternoon Tea in addition to the Classic Afternoon Tea and the railway's regular fish and chip special, the Haworth Haddock.

The attraction's catering manager Nick Sharp said: "The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is a multi-age group experience, and we want to offer the kind of menus that attract everybody.

"We've conducted some market research within the heritage railway sector and have concluded that we can do so much more.

"The new items on the dining trains are designed to widen our appeal to as many people as possible."

Passengers can choose whether they eat in the stylish surroundings of a 1960s dining car or in the sumptuous comfort of a 1930s Pullman car.

The new dining experiences will be offered to visitors throughout the late spring and summer from May until August and passengers can check availability via https://kwvr.co.uk/dining-trains
