A PUB will be hosting its annual fundraiser for the Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit (PSBRU) this weekend.
The Shoulder Of Mutton, on Carr House Lane, Shelf, is putting on a fun day on Saturday, May 11, which starts at 11am and runs throughout the day. A raffle, tombola and children's rides will be among the activities.
It comes on the day when people will be remembering the victims of the Valley Parade fire disaster 39 years ago.
The event is usually well-attended and raised a huge £4,500 for the charity last year.
Colin Boyes, one of the organisers, said: "This is our third running of holding this charity event, and we've raised £8,000 for the burns unit in two years.
The PSBRU, which is based at the University of Bradford, was founded by Professor David Sharpe following the fire disaster at the Bradford City football club on May 11, 1985.
