THE May bank holiday is usually filled with sunshine and blue skies.
However, despite a few sunny spells earlier this week, Bradford has not enjoyed much good weather this year.
This could be about to change though as we head towards those summer months.
Temperatures set to rise
Many of you would have woken up today to see a case of same old, same old as far as the weather is concerned.
And yes today is set to remain cloudy with temperatures just about hitting double digits.
But fear not, once Sunday hits the Met Office predicts highs of around 17 and 18 degrees for the next couple of days.
Thankfully this is to carry on for the remaining days of next week.
Sunday and Monday's weather
Sunshine should appear at the crack of dawn tomorrow with temperatures starting at 10 degrees and peaking at 17 degrees come 3pm.
Monday is set to follow a similar pattern - reaching a nice 19 degrees.
Expect beautiful sunny skies between 1pm and 4pm on the Bank Holiday.
