A GIRL has been rushed to hospital and a road closed after a crash involving a bus.
West Yorkshire Police was called to Manchester Road, in Bradford at 5.10pm today.
It was to reports of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian, between the road's junctions with Ripley Street and Parkside Road.
Officers and also Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) went to the scene.
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Police said: "A girl has been injured as a result of the collision and has been taken to hospital for treatment."
Footage seen by the Telegraph & Argus shows a huge emergency services response at the scene, with the air ambulance also in the area.
Police have closed the southbound carriageway of Manchester Road and advised people to seek alternative routes.
The 645, 681, 686, and 687 bus services are diverting, as a result of the closure.
First West Yorkshire said they are running via Ransdale Road, Little Horton Lane, and Smiddles Lane instead.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dash cam footage, to come forward.

"Police were called at 17:10 (2 May) to reports of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian on Manchester Road, Bradford.
"Emergency services including ambulance attended the scene.
"A girl has been injured as a result of the collision and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
"Road closures are currently in place and road users are advised to seek alternative routes.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage is asked to contact the police via 101 or via the website quoting log number 1401 of 2 May."
