A VAN was seized after it was discovered its driver's licence expired 19 years ago.
West Yorkshire Police officers were patrolling the Yeadon area of Leeds when they came across the vehicle.
The individual also did not have any insurance.
The dark blue Ford Transit was therefore seized.
A post on the West Yorkshire Police - Leeds North West Facebook page said: "Another vehicle taken off the roads in Yeadon by NPT Officers this morning.
"This time for driving with an expired licence (the licence expired 19 years ago!) and no insurance.
"We have seized lots of vehicles recently, but we are still seeing uninsured vehicles on our roads.
"Please take some time to check over your vehicle's insurance, MOT and tax renewal dates, as well as your own driving licence."
