A NEW store is to open in a former Wilko unit in a Bradford district town centre.
The site in Shipley has been vacant since the retailer shut its doors on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
This was before Wilko went into administration and closed all its UK stores.
Now, discount shop Poundstretcher is set to openWhen the Telegraph & Argus visited the store on Monday, signs were up and workers were wheeling in products such as food and stationery.
Poundstretcher already has two other sites in the Bradford district - one on Tong Street and the other at Five Lane Ends.
The new Shipley store is due to open on Saturday, April 27.
The Telegraph & Argus has approached Poundstretcher for a comment.
