FIFTEEN vehicles were caught speeding in a Bradford village in an police operation prompted by concerns raised by local residents.
Queensbury ward officers, including Sergeant Amirat and PCSO Davies were out this morning conducting a Speedwatch operation on Roper Lane and Brighouse and Denholme Road following concerns around speeding vehicles raised by local residents.
A total of 15 vehicles were caught to be exceeding the speed limit at each location and appropriate action will be taken.
Sergeant Amirat of Bradford South NPT said, "This latest operation demonstrates our commitment in making the roads of Queensbury and the district in general safe for everyone.
"These operations are now carried out on a regular basis and will continue moving forward.
"Speeding is amongst the Fatal 5 offences which is a particular focus during this month, and we remind all road users to adhere to the specified speed limits."
