A BRADFORD man has been charged following a sexual assault and exposure incident involving a female jogger.
The Bradford man is to due to appear in York Magistrates Court following the incident on Tuesday, which took place in the village of Kildwick near Cross Hills.
"A spokesperson for the North Yorkshire Police said: "A man has been charged and is due to appear in court on Saturday, April 13, following the sexual assault and indecent exposure against a woman jogger near Kildwick in the Cross Hills area.
"The incident happened on Tuesday, April 9, and the 43-year-old man from Bradford was arrested on April 10. He was taken into police custody where he was subsequently charged with sexual assault, exposure, possessing an offensive weapon in a private place and possessing a knife in a public place."
"He was remanded in custody to appear at York Magistrates’ Court on April 13."
