THIEVES took a cement mixer from the grounds of a house in Skipton, say police.
The Altrad Belle mixer was taken from the front garden of a property in Uplands, off Long Meadow, sometime last night, between Wednesday (April 10) and today (Thursday).
Police say a neighbour's dog started to bark at around 5am today, and the occupiers of the house heard what sounded like a van door shutting.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Did you see anything suspicious? Do you live in the area and have relevant CCTV footage? Any information please phone North Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 12240062873."
Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or online.
