A MAN has been fined and slapped with penalty points after hitting 100mph on a motorway in Bradford.
Matthew Jones, of Kennedy Close in Standish, Greater Manchester, was caught at the speed on September 29, 2023.
The 59-year-old was travelling between Junctions 26 and 25 Westbound on the M62 in Bradford.
Court documents say Jones did not attend the hearing at Bradford Magistrates Court last Wednesday (April 3).
They add that the defendant's guilty plea was taken into account when the Magistrates were imposing a sentence.
In his absence, he was fined £307 and must pay a £122 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs.
Jones' driving record was endorsed with six points.
The £519 must be paid by the end of this month (April 24).
