RESIDENTS are being warned to be "on their guard" following the theft of Yorkshire stone from a Bradford address.
West Yorkshire Police reported the theft of Yorkshire stone from a property on Harbour Road, Wibsey.
"We are alerting you to the theft of an amount of Yorkshire stone paving slabs from an address in the Wibsey area.
"No suspects were seen and the theft could have occurred anytime between April 4 and 5.
"As there are other addresses within the area with the same type of stone it is important to inform those in the area that this type of offence might occur again.
"Officers are aware. Should you see anything of interest please notify the police.
"Could I ask you to share the message with your neighbours to be on their guard."
