A 14-year-old boy is due to appear in court charged with several serious offences after police were called to a report of a business burglary.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with two counts of attempted grievous bodily harm (GBH), assault of an emergency worker, and possession of a knife blade or sharp-pointed article in a public place.
The charges relate to when officers were called to a report of a burglary at a business in Brownroyd Hill, Wibsey, at 7.10pm on Monday.
A spokesperson for the force said a machete was recovered from the scene.
The teenager has been remanded in custody to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court today.

"Police have charged a 14-year-old male with several offences following an incident in the Wibsey area of Bradford on Monday evening.
"The male, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with two counts of attempt GBH, assault of an emergency worker, and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
"He has been remanded in custody to appear before Bradford magistrates today (Wednesday).
"The charges relate to when officers were called to a report of a business burglary in Brownroyd Hill at about 7.10pm on Monday (April 1)."
"A machete was also recovered."
