A MALE died after falling from a bridge over the M62 on Monday evening, West Yorkshire Police have confirmed.
The motorway was closed in both directions for around two hours while emergency services worked at the scene.
Police officers and an air ambulance were scrambled to the area between junctions 24 and 23 at around 6.15pm.
A male was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.

A spokesperson for the force said: "At 6.15pm yesterday (Monday), police received reports that a male had fallen from a bridge over the M62 between junctions 23 and 24.
"Emergency services attended and found the male, who was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner. "
