A MAN has been jailed after he stole chocolate bars at a Tesco Express in Bradford city centre.
James Baker, of Cliffe Road in Bradford, committed the offence on Sunbridge Road on August 28 of last year.
He stole Whispa bars to a value of £32 and appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 21.
The 37-year-old was sent to prison for 16 weeks.
Court documents say this was because of his "failure to express willingness to comply with a proposed requirement for a community order."
They added: "The defendant has a flagrant disregard for people and their property."
