THREE men have been charged with drugs offences after police said they seized cannabis potentially worth more than £1million in a Bradford district town.

West Yorkshire Police said officers busted a "large-scale cannabis factory" at a disused building on Alice Street, Keighley, on Tuesday.

Officers reported recovering more than 1,000 plants from the property in what was described as a "significant operation" lasting several days.

Work was also carried out at the premises to make it safe.

Six arrests were made as part of the operation.

Three men, all of no fixed abode but living in Bradford, were later charged with producing controlled drugs offences.

They are Tai Van Phan, 35, Huy Van Nguyen, 33, Laz Van Nguyen, 43.

They appeared before magistrates in Bradford on Thursday.

Inspector John Barker, of West Yorkshire Police, said: "This warrant was made possible by the community information and intelligence that we have received.
