AN award-winning Bradford hairdressers which has "tripled in size" is celebrating a special anniversary this year.

Funky and Fresh has been at its current location on The Green, Idle, since April 1, 2014.

A lot has happened in a decade, including winning the T&A Best Hair Salon award in 2021.

The team then made the top three of the Best Hairdressers at the T&A Retail Awards in 2023.

"We've got quite a bit to celebrate," said Funky and Fresh owner Rachel Crowther.

"I think we've done well."

Although Funky and Fresh has been at its current location since 2014, the hairdressers has been in business for 14 years.

Rachel said: "We originally had a small shop to with just four of us. We've tripled in size in our bigger shop.

"We've now got two beauticians, two nail technicians, two juniors, five stylists and myself.

"We just keep getting busier and busier."

The shop will have a full week of celebrations in store, with balloons, Prosecco and cupcakes for customers.

There will also be an open evening on Thursday, April 4.
