TRAVELLERS looking to explore Türkiye can now book more flights from Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) as part of exciting changes to its schedule.
SunExpress' inaugural flight departed from Leeds on Sunday, March 25, to Antalya.
It marks the airport's new partnership with leisure airline SunExpress, a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines.
SunExpress will operate its new schedule of three weekly flights to Antalya throughout summer, boosting the number of routes to Türkiye in 2024.
Crews marked the milestone with cake and a ribbon-cutting celebration alongside staff from LBA.
SunExpress was previously named the 'World's Best Leisure Airline' by Skytrax and voted Türkiye’s safest airline.
The new flight schedule is part of SunExpress' plans to implement its largest route and network expansion in the UK this summer.
Nicola McMullen, aviation director at LBA, said: “This expansion broadens options for our passengers, offering enhanced access to one of our most popular destinations."
