BUSES are terminating early this evening after vandalism on a Bradford estate.
First West Yorkshire posted on X, formerly Twitter, at 6.29pm to say its 608 bus service would end at Lymington Drive, in the Holme Wood area until further notice.
This was "due to acts of vandalism in Kesteven Road", which is also in the Holme Wood estate.
Moovit, which describes itself as the "Real Time Worldwide Public Transport App", has an alert for the 608 service on it which states: "There has been a police incident on Kesteven Road in Bradford."
The 608 runs between Bradford city centre and the Holme Wood estate.
It normally continues from Lymington Drive down Broadstone Way - which runs through the heart of Holme Wood - when heading away from the city, before turning onto Kesteven Road.
The service then does a loop from here, onto Landscove Avenue and then back onto Broadstone Way to head back to Bradford.
It comes less than two weeks after a spate of attacks on buses in the Holme Wood estate.
The Telegraph & Argus has contacted West Yorkshire Police for details.
