MORRISONS has donated hundreds of Easter eggs to The Bradford Soup Run to give some welcome cheer to Bradford's homeless.

John Tempest, Bradford Soup Run director, said it will make a "big difference" to those the charity helps.

He added: "We know that Easter is a major time for retailers, and we were delighted that Morrisons were very quick to offer these eggs to those we meet on our Soup Runs.

"It will make a big difference to people who have little and it underlines the commitment of the largest Bradford-based company towards communities."

David Gallop, general manager of Morrisons Victoria in Girlington, said "We are very much aware of the difficulties some people in Bradford find themselves in and we are only too happy to ally ourselves to this charity and do our bit to help."
