PLANS to divide a large fabric store into a parade of nine smaller shops have been approved.
An application to divide a fabric warehouse at the junction of White Abbey Road and Arthington Street was submitted to Bradford Council late last year.
Submitted by Mr Atique, the plans show that the development would be carried out in two phases.
Phase one would see five new shops created at the White Abbey Road side of the building, with the further four making up phase two.
An existing car park to the rear of the building would provide 25 parking spaces.
The application has been approved by Bradford Council this week.
Planning officers said: “The proposed development is acceptable in principle and would not have a detrimental effect on visual amenity, highway safety or any other planning-related matter.”
