HERE'S a great picture taken at Easter 2012, after Bradford cheerleaders emerged from the National Cheerleading Championships with a cluster of glittering trophies.
The Bradford Bullettes - the Bradford Bulls cheerleaders - won six first-place prizes, three second place and two third-place trophies and got the highest score in the championship.
“I had 85 cheerleaders, all from Bradford and aged six to 25, attending with the Bullettes,” Robyn Morrison, director of Panache Cheerschool, which trains the Bullettes, said at the time.
“We were the most successful team there, winning the most trophies.”
A quick glance at Panache's Facebook page shows that its dancers are still winning plenty of trophies. Good luck to them for the rest of 2024.
