A JURY in a double murder trial has retired to consider its verdict.
Rashane Douglas, 19, of Jade Place, Huddersfield, is accused of murdering Haidar Shah, 19, and Joshua Clark, 21, on October 1, 2023, in Commercial Street, Halifax.
Yaseen Iqbal, 18, of Hall Bower, Huddersfield, is also on trial charged with assisting an offender.
Douglas denies murder, attempted murder, and wounding with intent. He previously pleaded guilty to possessing a knife in a public place.
His Honour Judge Jonathan Rose said the jury must reach a unanimous verdict.
Updates to come.
