A DRIVER who claimed someone else had sorted his insurance saw his car seized on a Bradford road.
West Yorkshire Police's Operation Steerside Team spotted the individual on Frizinghall Road.
Checks showed he possessed no insurance for his black Volkswagen.
His previous policy had expired the week previous.

West Yorkshire Police's Operation Steerside Team has been dedicated to tackling dangerous and anti-social driving in Bradford since the initiative was launched in 2016.
