POLICE have urged parents to ask themselves three important questions about their children - after another dispersal order was put in place in a Bradford district town.
The order, covering Keighley bus station and the immediate vicinity, comes after multiple reports of anti-social behaviour and other criminal acts.
It started at 8am today and will remain in place until 8am on Monday.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said today: "Do you know where your children and teenagers are on an evening?
"Do you know what they are up to on an evening?
"Do you know who they are with?
"What we would ask is that on an evening parents satisfy themselves they know (the answers to these questions)."
The spokesperson said children involved in incidents in Keighley last night and in recent weeks have been aged between 11 and 16.
"The last thing we want to do is arrive at your door returning your child under the dispersal power or worse still to tell you we have had to arrest them," they added.
Under the dispersal order, West Yorkshire Police said officers have the right to "disperse and remove any person suspected of contributing or likely to contribute to anti-social behaviour and instruct the surrender of any relevant property".
Anyone under the age of 16 can be removed to their place of residence or a place of safety.
Anyone with information on those involved in these incidents is asked to contact the Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101 or go online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/livechat
