THIEVES caused "significant damage" to a motorcycle in a bid to steal it from an address in Keighley.
West Yorkshire Police say someone attempted to take the 125cc Yamaha twice, from Redcliffe Street, between 10pm on Wednesday (March 6) and 10.50pm yesterday.
A spokesperson says: "The suspect, or suspects, caused significant damage to the motorcycle by cutting through the front disc brake and removing body panels.
"Unable to remove the motorcycle, they returned the following evening to try again. This time they were disturbed by the owner and made off. The motorcycle has been recovered for forensic examination."
