A POPULAR Bradford district gym is to undergo a series of upgrades.

Nuffield Health, Fitness & Wellbeing Gym, on Cottingley New Road in Bingley, say the works will take place between March 8 and 23.

A renovated sauna and steam rooms are expected, along with an updated relaxation area.

A post on the gym's Facebook page said: "We're thrilled to share that we'll soon be embarking on an exciting renovation project to upgrade and enhance our steam room.

"Please be informed that to facilitate this renovation, both our sauna and steam rooms will be closed from March 8-23.

"We will be getting a whole new dosing system, tiles, floor and new lighting.

"During this time, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and encourage you to explore our other amenities and facilities available to you."

It added: "Also at this time, we will be updating the relaxation area with, for example, increased seating, providing you with an even better wellness experience, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our facilities for your enjoyment.

"Stay tuned for updates on the progress of our renovation, and get ready to indulge in a rejuvenated steam room experience upon its reopening."
