THE fire service has issued an update on a major blaze at an arson-hit building.
Crews scrambled to the former care home in the St Ives Estate just after 6.30pm on Tuesday.
Multiple large jets, eight pumps, and an aerial appliance were used by the five stations in attendance at the derelict building.
West Yorkshire Police said a crime of arson had been recorded.
West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service has now confirmed it was a "deliberate ignition".
