A MAJOR response was sent to a huge fire at a former nursing home.
Multiple large jets and eight pumps were used by fire crews across the Bradford district on a building on Keighley Road in Bingley yesterday evening.
The blaze occurred at the derelict former St Ives Nursing Home just after 6.30pm.
One aerial appliance and hose reels were also used.
Crews from Bradford, Keighley, Bingley, Fairweather Green, and Illingworth fire stations were all in attendance.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Derelict building fire, former St Ives Nursing home, Keighley Road, Bingley.
"Eight pumps and one aerial appliance in attendance.
"Multiple Large jets and hose reels in use."
