POLICE issued a warning about the dangers of bypassing electrics after they discovered a large cannabis grow.
A Neighbourhood Policing Team responded to community information and attended an address in Shelf to execute a drugs warrant.
Inside the address, police found a cannabis grow which included numerous plants.
They also found that the electrics had been bypassed to provide lighting.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police issued the following warning: "These scenes were very dangerous (as they often are when the electrics are bypassed).
"It is important that local communities continue to report such matters so we can attend and secure the premises, and ensure that buildings are made safe again – and are no longer a fire risk."
Anyone who has any information or suspicions of a cannabis grow, can report them directly online via the police's Live Chat system at westyorkshire.police.uk/LiveChat
