BRADFORD is renowned as being the UK's curry capital.

The number of restaurants for curry lovers to enjoy in the city is overwhelming.

One of those at the forefront of that scene - since its early beginnings way back in the seventies - is Aagrah.

I tried the revamped buffet at their Midpoint restaurant in Thornbury and was pleasantly surprised with what I found.

It is this that makes the dining experience perfect for families.

Instead of parents scrambling around looking for their child's order, they can just let them run free at the various available items.

I also intended to make my way through over 12 starters, 15 main dishes, and 15 desserts on display.

It was the traditional starters that grabbed my attention initially.

As you would expect the samosas, pakoras, and onion bhajis were spot on.

To my surprise the Kentucky Chicken and Mongolian Chicken were luscious.

I didn't try the Lasagne -  but that's maybe one for next time.

The mains are often the true test for any sort of buffet.

I love a good curry and have tried various places across Bradford and its surrounding areas.

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Therefore, I was looking forward to seeing what this new buffet could do to my taste buds.

I opted to go for the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Karahi Gosht with the Sindhi Chicken Biryani.

All the old favourites were featured, though it would have been nice to have seen a few hotter options.

I have never really been a fan of traditional Indian desserts but I thought I would give them a go.

Overall, I think the new Aagrah buffet was varied, tasty, and well-priced for families.

If you enjoy a range of different cuisines and have a keen appetite, this is definitely for you!
