ONE male was arrested for drugs offences after being stopped by police in a dramatic incident at a busy junction today (Wednesday).
The arrest took place after police stopped a vehicle during rush hour on a road in Pudsey.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "A vehicle was stopped by officers at the junction of Littlemoor Road and Roker Lane, Pudsey, just after 5pm today (Wednesday, February 28).
"The occupants of the vehicle were detained at the scene.
"One male was taken to hospital and has been arrested for drugs offences."
Local residents took to social media to provide witness accounts of the dramatic incident as it unfolded.
One said two police vehicles used a tactical movement against the vehicle at the scene.
