A CAR was seized after a driver said they had borrowed it from a friend.
The vehicle was spotted by West Yorkshire Police's Operation Steerside Team on Thornton Road.
The driver's insurance did not cover them on the blue Toyota.
Officers also found the car had not been taxed since January 2022.
It was therefore seized and the driver was reported for the offences.
A report was also issued to the DVLA.
A post on the Operation Steerside X account said: "Originally seen and checked on Thornton Road @WYP_BradfordW
"This car had been borrowed from a friend who hadn't taxed it since January 2022, and the driver's insurance did not cover them to drive.
"Seized and driver reported for offences.
"Report also issued to DVLA."
