A YOUNG Bradford man has appeared in court accused of injuring a child whilst riding an off-road motorbike with no registration.
Kirk Bailey, of Bishopdale Holme in Buttershaw, has been charged with causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving.
The 21-year-old is accused of injuring an eight-year-old boy in Brafferton Arbor, Buttershaw, on April 29 of last year.
The charge adds that he was driving a mechanically propelled vehicle, namely an off-road motorbike with no registration, without due care and attention.
The court heard how the victim sustained a broken leg and lacerations to the face following the collision.
The magistrates granted Bailey unconditional bail.
When appearing at Bradford Magistrates Court on Friday afternoon, he gave a no-indication plea.
The case was adjourned to Bradford Crown Court on Friday, March 22.
