Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) were still working at the scene as of 6.51am, according to National Highways: Yorkshire.
A spokesperson for the YAS said: "We received an emergency call at 6.12am on Wednesday morning to a collision involving one car on the M62 westbound between junctions 23 and 22.
"An ambulance was dispatched to the scene but no one required conveying to hospital."
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police, however, also confirmed: "This is a ‘damage only’ collision.
"Officers are on scene and lanes have been closed to assist with the safe recovery of the vehicle."
National Highways: Yorkshire gave an update at 7.20am which said the scene had been cleared and the lanes reopened.
But National Highways: Yorkshire has still warned of residual delays of at least two hours.

The average speed was as low as 13mph at junction 25 (Brighouse).
