AN application has been made to renew a licence for a strip club in Bradford.

Jason Armitage has applied to renew the Sexual Entertainment Venue Licence for Cleopatra’s Lounge Bradford at 7-9 Little Horton Lane.

The club, one of two such venues in West Yorkshire - the other being in Huddersfield - provides, according to its website ‘adult entertainment with luxury surroundings and premium service'. 

Anyone wanting to object to the application should write by Thursday, March 7 to The Department of Place, Licensing Team, Shearbridge Depot, Shearbridge Road, Bradford, BD7 1PU.

In separate applications, residents in Bradford are being given the chance to comment on proposals for several goods vehicle centres across the district.

WOW! Lifestyle, trading as Wow Sleep of Wyke Mills Complex, Huddersfield Road, Bradford BD12 8JY, is applying to add an operating centre to keep three goods vehicles and two trailers at Stone Hall Mills, Stone Hall Road, Bradford BD2 2EW.

Owners or occupiers of land, including buildings, near the operating centre(s), who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, should write to the Traffic Commissioner at Hillcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane, Leeds LS9 6NF, stating their reasons, by Wednesday March 6.

Representors must at the same time send a copy of their representations to the applicant at Wyke Mills Complex.

An application has also been made by Bradford Skip Services Ltd for a licence to operate four goods vehicles out of Unit 6, Hope Iron Works on Dick Lane.

This application is open for comments until Friday March 8, particularly from owners or occupiers of land near the proposed operating centre who believe they could be negatively impacted.

Any comments should be directed to the Traffic Commissioner's Office.

In a third application, Blade Access Limited of 2 Birksland Street, Bradford, BD4 8UX is applying to change an existing licence to add an operating centre to keep two goods vehicles and two trailers at Blade House, 12 Trevor Foster Way, Bradford BD5 8HB.

Owners or occupiers of land, including buildings, near the operating centre(s), who believe that they would be adversely affected, should write to to the Traffic Commissioner by Friday March 8, and send a copy to the applicant.
