A DRIVER was rushed to hospital after a five-car crash near a small town centre.
The collision occurred on High Street in Yeadon last Thursday evening at around 6pm.
A Citroen Berlingo travelling towards Victoria Avenue was involved in a crash with a Hyundai Tucson going in the opposite direction.
The Citroen then collided with three parked cars; a Mini One, a Ford Focus and a Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the Citroen, a man in his seventies, was taken to hospital for treatment.
There were no other reported injuries.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a multi-car collision in Yeadon.
"The collision happened on Thursday 15 February at around 6pm on the High Street.
"A Citroen Berlingo was travelling on the High Street in the direction of Victoria Avenue.
"A Hyundai Tucson was travelling in the opposite direction towards Cemetery Road and there were three parked cars, a Mini One, a Ford Focus and a Ford Fiesta.
"A collision happened between the Citroen Berlingo and the Hyundai Tucson.
"The Citroen also then collided with the three parked cars on the road.
"The driver of the Citroen, a male in his seventies, was taken to hospital for treatment. There were no other reported injuries.
"Police are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage of the collision. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police via 101 or the LiveChat facility quoting log number 1463 of 15 February."
