POLICE have released an image of a woman they would like to speak to following an alleged assault in a Skipton pub.
Officers are seeking witnesses and any information about an incident that reportedly happened in The Fleece Inn, Keighley Road, at just after midnight on Sunday, January 28.
A police spokesperson said: "A woman aggressively grabbed hold of the victim before following her into the toilets and verbally harassing her.
"We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, officers are appealing for information about the identity of the woman, as she may have information that could help the investigation."
The woman officers would like to speak to, and in the CCTV image, is described as white, around 50 years old, about 5ft 6ins tall and of a 'stocky' or 'large' build. She has dark brown hair, which at the time was styled in a messy, tied-back ponytail, and was wearing a black coat, black jeans or leggings, and a chain necklace.
