BRADFORD is bracing itself for snow today after an amber weather warning was issued for Yorkshire.
The latest from the Met Office this morning is that snowfall will hit the district from 8am.
The amber alert is scheduled to last all afternoon and into the evening from 12pm to 6pm.
The Bradford district is currently under a yellow weather warning.
This is a 24-hour alert from 6am on Thursday to 6am tomorrow.
The amber weather warning could mean some rural communities may become cut off, cuts to power and other services such as mobile phone coverage, and travel delays.
