A CAR stolen in a "Hanoi burglary" from across the border was found parked up four days later in Bradford.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) found a black BMW off Cooper Lane, in the Buttershaw area this morning.
It had been stolen in a "Hanoi burglary" from the Leeds area last Thursday.
A "Hanoi burglary" is used in reference to burglars who break into a property, steal car keys, then drive off with the vehicle.
The burglary is often done with the explicit purpose of obtaining these keys.
A spokesperson for the Bradford South NPT said: "Enquiries are now ongoing to identify those responsible and the vehicle will soon be returned to its rightful owner."
Earlier this month, a 25-year-old man was jailed after stealing cars in a spate of "Hanoi burglaries" and then "paraded" them for sale on TikTok, with some sold to Bradfordians.
