POLICE have warned residents to be vigilant following a series of tool thefts from vehicles in Bradford.
The warning has been issued for the Bradford South policing area, which covers Buttershaw, Clayton Heights, Dudley Hill, Great Horton, Holme Wood, Low Moor, Queensbury, Royds, Tong, West Scholes, Wibsey, Wyke and surrounding areas, after vehicles have been targeted for tools.
A spokesperson for the Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Bradford South area has been subject to a series of theft from motor vehicle offences over the last few days whereby vehicles have been targeted for tools.
"Vehicles are both vans and cars which would suggest items are being left on show.
"There have also been reports of door handles being tried at properties.
"Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity."
