Police have seized a car after discovering a driver was uninsured.
West Yorkshire Police’s Bradford South team stopped the car on Beckside Road, Lidget Green.
This vehicle was being driven by an international licence holder.
The trade insurance policy on the vehicle did not provide cover for the driver, officers said.
The vehicle was seized and the driver has since been reported to court.
It was part of a national operation alongside the Motor Insurers' Bureau and Operation Tutelage.
Run alongside partners, Operation Tutelage is in place to reduce the impact of untaxed, uninsured, untraceable and unsafe vehicles.
The team recently held a week of action alongside officers working on Bradford’s Operation Steerside.
The joint operation was held earlier this month in the Bradford West Neighbourhood Policing Team area.
They also worked with Bradford Council and the DVSA.
