STORM Jocelyn is causing huge delays and cancellations at Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) today.

The airport has announced on its website that several flights have either been severely delayed or cancelled entirely.

The airport says the disruption has been caused by the "adverse weather" created by Storm Jocelyn.

Flights to Amsterdam (the KLM 6.10am and 10am) and Dublin (the Aer Lingus 8.55am) have been cancelled.

Other flights to Tenerife, Belfast City, and Alicante have been delayed.

Only one plane arrived at the airport this morning - the 7.55 Ryanair Alicante flight at 8.17am.

A KLM flight (9.30am) in from Amsterdam was cancelled, while others have sustained delays.

An Aer Lingus flight from Dublin (8.05am) has been diverted to Liverpool, while the 8.45am flight Bucharest Otopeni Afb has been diverted to Birmingham.

A spokesperson for Leeds Bradford Airport said: “We currently remain open but are experiencing some delays and disruptions to flights due to adverse weather.

"We recommend passengers check with their airlines and on our website for live updates.”
