A missing man from Bradford has not been seen in almost four years - sparking a fresh appeal from police.

Ismail Ali was last seen leaving his job at Gulam Food Stores, on Cumberland Road, around 2.30pm on Friday, May 29, in 2020.

He has not been seen since then.

West Yorkshire Police regularly reviews Ismail’s case as his name remains listed on their missing person files.

He is described as an Asian male, of a slim build, with short black hair and a full beard.

He is known to the Dewsbury and Batley areas, as well as Blackburn.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have any information which might assist in locating or understanding Mr Ali’s last movements. 

Detective Chief Inspector Zaheer Abbas from Bradford Safeguarding, said: “Ismail has not been seen May 2020 and despite numerous police enquiries and appeals he has not been located.

“As you can imagine Ismail’s family are deeply concerned for him and would like to know he is safe and well. 

“I would urge anyone with any information, however small or insignificant you may feel it is, to get in contact with the police.”
