SHIPLEY College is marking National Apprenticeship Week at the start of next month with a special event.
The college will host an apprenticeship recruitment event at Victoria Hall in Saltaire from 11am to 3pm on February 8.
It will offer school leavers, young people and anyone aged 16 and over the chance to find out more about local apprenticeship opportunities, and the many vacancies available across the Bradford district.
Sonia Patel, business engagement officer at Shipley College, said: "Apprenticeships are a great option for people of any age.
"They can get hands-on experience in their preferred field, earn a salary and gain a valuable qualification all at the same time.
"We find that lots of our apprentices also end up being offered full-time employment."
The event is free to attend and bookings can be made via the Shipley College website - www.shipley.ac.uk/events - or visitors can turn up on the day.
